Items - Abiphones, Blazetekk™ & 9f™ Expansion (pls read the dungeon part is so cool) (2024)

Hey.

I’m a sucker for the concept behind the Blazetekk™ Ham Radio : sizable interesting buffs, without inflating Magical Power nor replacing an armor/equipement slot.
I’ll toy around with a few new effects.
Here’s a reminder on how it works :

Abiphone Upgrade Slots : A, B, C, D & E​

Akin to minions, your Abiphone gains upgrade slots : slot A appears on uncommon Abiphones, slot B on rare ones, and slots C/D/E at epic and legendary rarities. Each slot requires the previous one to be unlocked.
But wait, there’s more !

• Slot A : unlocked for 250k coins for that Abiphone Model ;
• Slot B : unlocked for 1m coins for that Abiphone Model ;
• Slot C : unlocked after donating your Blazetekk™ Ham Radio to the Curator ;
• Slot D : for repairing the whole Abiphone's 9f™ network, which now consists of 11 relays.

• Slot E : unlocked from spamming E on the keyboard located at the Rift Plaza for ≥2 minutes. Only exists in the Rift.
  
  • “But Abiphones can’t be transferred to the Rift!”
    
    • Outside of the Rift : Slot E does not appear on the Abiphone. But the glass pane that would be Slot E has an enchant glint. Which disappears once you interact with its Rift counterpart.
    • In the Rift : Slot E appears in any GUI.
      
      • If the GUI slot is obstructed by another feature then it does not appear at all.
      • If the GUI is too small to display it (i.e. small chest) then it it shifted upwards.

Slots Features​

• Slot A is the Additional Abicase:
  
  1. allows for a 2nd abicase to be active at all times, without giving Magical Power. Does not allow for a duplicate.
• Slot B is the KomboKeypad™ plan:
  
  1. allows you to create key combos similarly to the Hollow Wand with Left clicks ✤ and Right clicks ✦ to instantly call a contact.
     
     • Key combos for contacts have 2 to 4 inputs.
     • Key combos stop registering ✦/✤/Ø after 0.5s to 2s. (Note: Ø = no input). The maximum cooldown between inputs can be managed in the Abiphone.
     • They can be managed under each individual contact setting.
  2. allows you to fuse your Abiphone with your 9th hotbar slot. This action can be reverted in the Abiphone Menu.
     
     • The Skyblock menu can still be interacted with ✦✦✦✦✦.
     • The classic Abiphone GUI can still be interacted with ✤✤✤✤✤.
• Slot C is the Affluent Blazetekk™ plan:
  
  1. links your donated Blazetekk™ Ham Radio to your Abiphone ;
  2. links up to 10 items under the UTILITY category to a Key combo using a single input.
  3. Key combos linked to items can be fine-tuned depending on your location.

• Slot D is the 9f™ Signal Booster :
  
  1. Slot D allows you to use the Telecommunications ability remotely.
  2. Upgrades the Blazetekk™ Ham Radio :
     
     • All channels:
       
       • -2s on mob spawn timer per player in the same area as you.
       • -1s on ressources spawn rate on public islands (Ores, Gemstones, Crops, Trees) per player in the same area as you.
         
         • Note: these perks are not active on Private Island, Garden, Rift, Catacombs and Kuudra.
     • 610 AM :
       
       • +60 Defense
       • +40 True Defense
       • +1 Combat Wisdom
       • +10 Combat Wisdom against Blazes (new!)
       • x2 duration of Smoldering Polarization (new!)
       • +2 Vitality.
         • Note: current BHR™ ability is now specific to this channel
     • S&R 40.5 FM :
       
       • x1.6 chance to roll for an additional Nucleus Bundle item.
       • x1.05 Elusive Mobs spawn rates
       • x1.004 Odds of finding DIVINE Chocolate rabbits
       • x1.0003 Phoenix Pet drop chance
       • x1.00002 Dyes drop chance
       • x1.000001 to get RNG the Fish.
         • Note: E-man 9 perk gives x1.15 multiplier towards Elusive Mobs spawn rates for comparison.
         • Note: First perk doubles the effectiveness of Mole perk Nucleic Explorer.
         • Note: RNG the Fish has a 1/10M chance per second (an average of one player blessed per 115 IRL days) of appearing in a random player’s inventory at any given time throughout the whole Skyblock game. It disappears after 1 minute, leaving no trace.
           • Lore reads : “No one will ever believe you.”
           • The event is announced in the instance : “RNG INCARNATE ! RNG the Fish manifested itself for the n-th time ever in the inventory of [Player’s Name]”.
           • The event is announced server-wide : “RNG INCARNATE ! RNG the Fish has been sighted for the n-th time ever!”
     • SETI.930Mhz :
       
       • x2 coins from mobs
       • x2 damage taken from mobs
       • +2s to Grandma Wolf’s perk timer
       • Overflow Pet XP earned from mobs is converted at a rate of 1 ¢ per Combat XP.
     • 1512 AM :
       
       • -7s on Ultimate Abilities cooldown
       • 6% to reveal the Dungeon Floor Layout
       • +5 Mining Spread in Dungeons (yes, this requires Stonking to be acknowledged as a feature)
       • +4 dungeon score
       • x3 animation and dialogue speed (only affects doors opening, Bossfights, Blood Room)
       • +2 Classes and Catacombs Wisdom
       • x1.01 Score towards RNG Meter
     • Bluetooth 2.48 GHz :
       
       • +10 Cold and Heat Resistance
       • +10 Mining Fortune
       • +10 Gemstone Spread
       • +0.1 Pristine
     • 2325 XM :
       
       • +1 Global Wisdom
       • +4 Global Fortune
       • +16 Fortune gained from temporary Fortune Buffs.
         • Note: includes Philip Pesthunter bonus, Dark Cocoa Truffle, Better Together event, Skymall and Mineshaft Mayhem perks, Magic 8-Ball, Atmospheric Filter.
     • Infrared :
       
       • +1 Rift Time on kill and Motes Pickup.
       • -10s during each Mania Phase.
       • x0.5 Rift Time cost from using Eyes.
       • Opens up a passage-way to escape the Jail.
       • Sky turns to day.
         • Note: Infrared is the only radiofrequency that works in the Rift. It also is the only one that does not follow the standard fee or behavior as both your Overworld and Rift versions use the same frequency. However, it requires a Bluetooth Ring to be placed at all times in your Rift Transfer Chest.
           • BHR™ isn’t rift-transferrable but the effect is. You don’t need a copy to mimic the effect.
     • GPS.1227Mhz :
       
       • x1.01 Diamond Trophy Fish odds
       • +10 Fishing Speed
       • +10 Gold Essence per Gold Trophy Fish caught
       • +100 Diamond Essence per Diamond Trophy Fish caught
       • +5 Crimson Essence per Sea Treasure caught on the Crimson Isle
       • +5 Ice Essence on per Sea Treasure caught on the Jerry Island
     • 103.5 FM :
       
       • 1% for Attributes to appear 1 tier higher.
       • 10% of your total tokens as Crimson Essence at the end of runs.
       • 1% chance to gain an additional Kuudra Teeth.
  3. Upgrades the range of its bonuses :
     
     • 55 blocks radius for the base item for reference
     • +1 on the X/Y/Z axis per Atoms bestiary tier → 75
     • +10 to the above bonus if the donated Synthesizer v3 has been maxed out → 85
     • +5 with a Bluetooth Ring → 90
     • +40 if player has their relay(s) repaired on that island → 130
  4. Upgrades the player count on the same channel at a fee

• Slot E : instantly opens Motes Grubber at a cost of √(distance) to the nearest Motes Grubber, rounded down..

Various changes​

I only listed the ones that emerged from my player experience. I don’t have Divan’s Drill so I didn’t suggest adding it to Museum.

• Abiphone Changes
  
  • Abiphone GUI has been modified to be overall less cluttered.
    
    • Tic Tac Toe, Snake and Disc Player have been merged under a Misc sub-menu. (+1 GUI slot)
    • Close button has been removed. (+1 GUI slot)
    • Contacts Directory, Sorting, Ringtones, KomboKeypad™ and 9f™ Operator Chip have been merged under a Settings sub-menu. (+3 GUI slots).
      
      • Shift-left and shift-right clicking on the Settings icon allows to sort contacts.
    • Upgrades Slots sub-menu added (-1 GUI slot)
  • All aforementioned upgrades can be viewed within /hex.
• New Abiphone contacts :
  
  • After attending 10 meetings, Brarnas will remark how troublesome harvesting Starfall can be with nearby Star Sentries. Giving him a Starlight Wand and an InfiniVacuum™ will add him to your contacts List. Giving him the InfiniVacuum™ Hooverius automatically collects Starfall without having to answer.
  • Alwin/Igor can be added to your contacts list to access the salvage menu…
    
    • upon reaching 12000 reputation in their respective faction ;
    • against an item matching :
      
      • 2 attributes chosen at random (except Magic Find and whatnot locked to Kuudra loot) at least level 4 each ;
      • the slot (necklace, boots. No weapons here).
    • If you don’t have the reforger from the opposite faction.
  • Bartender commissioned Mad Redstone Engineer to design a beverage delivery service. The project would come to be quite expensive to setup as he asks for a contribution :
    
    • 4 Enchanted Redstone Blocks
    • 10 Volta
    • 1 Magical Water Bucket
    • This will allow you to buy Slayer Mixins.
• Changes to existing contacts :
  
  • Purchasing Chocolate Rabbits from Hoppity Calls can also debit your bank account.
  • Fixed Fred the Foreman not calling you when your items are done forging.
  • Trevor the Trapper cooldown is reduced by 1s for each animal hunted in the same lobby. Resets after 3 minutes of accepting a pelt quest.
• New bestiaries :
  
  • Atoms bestiary, containing the Exe, Wai & Zee : tier bracket VII, caps out at Atoms XX (1000 atomizations).
  • Cinderbat bestiary : tier bracket V, caps out at Cinderbat XV (400 kills).
• Bottles of Jyrre and Dark Cocoa Truffles now tick in your potion bag after consuming 5 of each.
